Weddings
The Anglican Chaplain on Madeira would be delighted to carry out your wedding ceremony in the historic Holy Trinity Church, under its magnificent dome and surrounded by its lawns and walled garden; however, any celebration of a wedding must comply with the Portuguese law which requires a preceding legal civil ceremony in your own country or here in Madeira beforehand. Our church and gardens, situated in the benign climate of a sub-tropical island, offer a beautiful environment for a wedding blessing or renewal of wedding vows, and what better way to celebrate the most important day of your life than when you are on holiday.
